Funny Optical Illusions

Optical illusions are also known as visual illusion. The illusions happen when the brain perceives a particular object in a way which does not match with the actual objects’ dimensions. Optical illusions are of various types such as literal, cognitive and physiological optical illusion. The optical illusions could be natural or created by man. Every day we encounter lots of natural optical illusions such as when we look at the sky, the sky looks flat whereas that is not true. When we look at the moon in the night sky, the moon seems to be moving which is again not true. Since decades, the artists and scientists have been shown immense interest in the concept of optical illusions and many artists have created work based on this concept. Optical illusions are sometimes used consciously by the artists in their work. Optical illusions are getting used in different fields of life. Some of the creations are shown to the viewers just to entertain them. The optical illusions are used in the big commercial houses to attract people and also to convey some important social message. There are many artists who have created and are creating funny optical illusions which entertain both child and the adult. One very popular optical illusion is an image where the body is seen without the head. The image that is static but seems to be moving or two lines that seem to be bending while they are actually not are the examples of the funny optical illusions.
